Dr. Nangia has served as Medical Director at Good Samaritan Hospital, Behavioral Health Outpatient Services and as voluntary faculty at Stanford School of Medicine. He has been trained under and taught with leaders in the field including David Burns for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and motivational therapies and Bob Stahl for Mindfulness training.
He is currently pursuing his passion in providing integrative treatment and for those resistant to medications, now offers Transmagnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatment, a novel treatment with minimal side effects that has significant data to support its effectiveness for resistant depression.
Dr. Nangia is a Diplomat of the American Psychiatric Association, and a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine. He serves as physician staff for Good Samaritan Hospital, Mission Oaks, at their outpatient behavioral health programs and chemical dependency programs.
Dr. Nangia gives back to the community and throws a Red Carpet Charity Event annually to benefit community mental health.
