Richard J. Pitch, MD
Dr. Pitch works exclusively at his private outpatient practice, Long Island neuroCare in Oakdale, NY and is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He received his undergraduate degree at Wesleyan University, his psychiatry residency at Hillside Hospital Long Island Jewish Medical Center and completed his mini-Fellowship in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation from Harvard Medical School, in 2010, at the Berenson-Allen Brain Stimulation Center at Beth Israel-Deaconess Center in Boston. Dr. Pitch has been published in several articles and book chapters on panic disorder in schizophrenia. He has also co-authored two books on Medical Ethics and Death and Dying. The scope of his practice is from adolescence to geriatrics and includes the diagnosis and treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, addictions, attention deficit disorder, and grief and relationship problems.
